{UAH} HAPPY 'FAMILY' DAY TO EVERYONE!
Friends,
I grew up in the kind of traditional, two-person home that most of us glorify, and it was fantastic. I never knew my mum till when i was about 7 years old, and I used to think that my grandma was actually my mum. So, basically I've got two 'mums' if this makes sense. But I've always wondered why people really celebrate mother's day? If the intention is to promote the concept of a 'two-person' home, why should we have father and mother's days celebrated separately? Why don't we just have one day and simply call it 'family day'? Family, for me, is a bedrock and an antidote to building stable communities and nations.....So, happy 'family day' to everyone!
