The exit polls in this historic referendum seems to have been won by
the pro same sex marriage by a whopping 62%. This is a challenge and
probably aslo a humiliating end to the Catholic Church's temporal as
well as moral authority in the Irish state, and by definition a
serious challenge to Papal authority. Edward Mulindwa and his fellow
gays must be in party mood, I dont think he is going to appear here
tonight, but it is a surely sad day for Pastor Richard Mukasa whose
worst dream appears to have been realised. We agnostics sit on the
fence and wonder.
