{UAH} Ocen, WBK//Former US House Speaker to be charged with sexual misconduct

From early this morning when this news broke out, it has confounded most people who know or even worked with Dennis Hastert. 

The allegations stem from his days as a high school wrestling coach. Apparently, he had a "misconduct of a sexual nature" with a student, and likely it's this student who wanted a financial settlement in exchange for his continued silence.

It's how the former Speaker was going about raising the agreed sum that triggered FBI investigation. In a way, Hastert was under blackmail of this ex student, but then again, the former speaker's past is simply catching up with him.

Goes to show that we cannot run away from our past.
