{UAH} OUR SIMON OKURUT IS GOING NOWHERE! THANK GOD!

I have read your comments and I see the impact of my decision to quit.
As many of you may have known, my interest has been to see a united
Uganda where each and every Ugandan contributes to its progress in
whatever way possible. Development as we know, is incremental and
there is no single group, tribe or religion that can pride itself as
the only one capable of creating such development. To achieve that
requires sincerity, respect and hard work, research/studying to learn
better ways we can reach our desired goals.


As I continued to interact with members, I noticed a group that
carried a divisive agenda based on tribes; Uganda consists of many
tribes and there is nothing we can do about that; but no amount of
pleas, advice or otherwise could prevail upon them. Liars and
criminals can never create or bring progress in any society and I
reject such tendencies. The place for liars is outside where serious
people operate; the place for criminals is in jail/prisons. We have
members in this good forum who are both liars and criminals and I
promise, we shall place such people where they belong sooner or later,
unless they desist their evil practices.


I threw good members into surprise by my announcement; some thought I
had received a brown envelope, no, I am above that base greed; I still
survive on my meager earnings; some suggested I should crush the
weakling but again I say, it is not good for the strong to crush the
weaklings, even God will not forgive; others suggested to step down
for me, but that would cause them to sacrifice for a colleague, good
but not necessary. A good leader should know when to call it quits,
and I thought I was such a leader.


However, after serious reflection on what our country needs and lacks,
and coupled with you contributions, I am back again with you and will
continue with the battle for progress. My advise to the liars and
criminals is to voluntarily march go to where they belong to start
serving their sentences; some of them escaped from jail, we shall get
you with time, this I promise; it doesn't matter when you have been
hiding for 31 years, time will catch up with you. For instance, some
Nazi criminals have been hiding for the last 70 years but to their
surprise, they are being arrested in 2015. We have the data on some of
these criminals and we shall send them to Luzira, it is just a matter
of time.


I wonder what one gets by telling lies, isn't the truth liberating?''
