BUSABALA - Residents of Busabala are stranded after the bridge on the only passable access road to the area caved in following two days of heavy rains.

The bridge had collapsed three days before Saturday; however, as rains continued to pound the already weakened structured, it caved in.

Residents have made a personal plea to the new Uganda National Roads Authority boss, Allen Kagina to come to their rescue by making the road a top priority.

The Kibuye - Busabala road is commonly used by tourists who go to lake shores and businessmen taking merchandise there.
