A teenager has been seriously injured after crawling out of a crash wreckage, only to be hit a second time by another vehicle in Queensland's southeast.
The 19-year-old Upper Coomera woman was the passenger in a car driven by her female friend that was hit by a Mitsubishi Magna that ran a red light, just before midnight on Friday.
After escaping the wreckage by climbing through the shattered windscreen, she was struck a second time by a sedan, with the driver blowing three times the legal blood alcohol limit.

The driver of the first car fled the scene after the accident, which took place at the intersection of the Gold Coast Highway and Pacific Avenue in Miami.
According to the ABC, the Mitsubishi collided with a traffic light pole and a fence after the accident and police believe the driver fled on foot.
He was still on the run on Saturday afternoon.
After the woman was hit a second time, she was thrown into the air and sustained serious injuries.
The 24-year-old driver of the sedan had an alleged blood alcohol concentration of 0.161 per cent, over three times the legal limit.

The woman's 18-year-old Paradise Point friend who was driving the car was also treated for serious injuries.
They were both taken to Gold Coast University hospital after the accident.
The driver of the sedan will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on May 28.
