Man linked to Sh570m ivory haul 'is hiding in Uganda'

May 22, 2015An inter-agency task force is looking for the director of the company that exported the Sh570 million ivory and rhino seized in Singapore.
Potential Quality Supplies director Samuel Jefwa is believed to be hiding in Uganda.
Jefwa is being sought by the task force that comprises the CID, Kenya Wildlife Service, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission and Flying Squad.
Jefwa allegedly fled to Uganda after police visited his premises in Mombasa.
Singapore authorities seized the illegal shipment of ivory stashed in bags of tea leaves on Tuesday.
Kenya has sought a Mutual Legal Assistance with Uganda to arrest the owner of the company.
Siginon Group yesterday said it does not know at which stage the tea they had packed was replaced with the illegal haul.
