{UAH} Unsubscribe Me.
Peter Simon Okurut
I start by apologizing for taking this long to respond to your writing to Abbey Semuwemba, it is hectic here as we prepare for the games to start very shortly but I will take a second to respond and in honest. I have a whole issue with any one, degree holder none degree holder, that deletes a writing he/she is responding to, it is to try and twist the facts, for the piece you are responding to is no longer available for the readers to consult. Now since you decided to play a Uganda House by deleting what I wrote, here is again a part of what I so stated sir
Because UPC has been in power for too long, there are those of us that started to suffer from it way back in the 60's, when we had to hide in forests for the Akena Adoko creature and its goons were hunting every one down for he/she is a Muganda. Terms like Akabazzi and Akanajjolo were started in Buganda dictionary for Akena Adoko's goons were using them to murder innocent people. We ran from schools, we left town but we knew parents that were hacked by Akena let alone his goons. Akena Adoko remains the only man that has ever earned a title on a national paper "Bad News Akena Adoko is back" Search it sir you will find it. And yet Akena was only a single killing machine of UPC. On UPC 2 government the situation became so worst that many people were hacked but arrested, Acholi became attack Dogs to murder at will, and buses like Mpawo Atalikaba driven by Acholi in middle of Kampala became our daily lives. Apart from murdering for fun, many innocent people got arrested and dumped in military barracks including myself that was put in Makindye Go down, where I realized the side of Ugandans I never knew. The very dark side. It is important for you to recognize that I left Makindye as a dead man loaded on a Tata truck with the rest of dead people, only that through God's eyes I was just unconscious an woke up after they dumped us on Akayanja Kakabaka. My story was written in Globe and Mail, Toronto Star Ottawa star and Vancouver star.
End quote
Peter I fail to understand what we as Ugandans must state to address the atrocities that were committed in our country, atrocities that had a great impact on lives of many people especially Baganda from UPC one government let alone UPC 2 government. Peter again I repeat some of the people I know as the mother of my kids never had a teenage life for she was among the Luwero boarding schools that John Ogole rejected to shut down during the war. The poor woman spent years in the forest to survive, and she is reading this writing trust me for she is a very silent member of this forum. And as I told Barigye, you guys must reach a point to understand that Obote one government and Obote two government had a human right issue it simply failed to address for it owned Acholi that were a free force to murder Ugandans, and at will. It is sad that after reading that posting, you stood up into a forum and created such a manajatwa of "I am leaving the forum because my analysis seems to trigger past traumatic experiences of victims of torture as Mulindwa points out and as I work with such populations, it is against my professional ethics to engage in debates with people that may be triggered again. Now that I know what Mulindwa went through, I feel for him and the best I can do is for me to pull out." -Peter Simon Okurut.
So Peter we have to shut up so that you do not leave the forum? That was a very empty threat and I have warned you many times that I have a problem working with very empty threats. You know George Okello left the forum, he spent months posting to his own created forum whose addresses he stole from UAH, what happened to that? And now you are threatening me that you are withdrawing from the forum for I have stated that some of us have unforgettable trauma we have lived thanks to your party? And I repeat again, there is no sense discussing the future of our country with UPC members for you failed in Obote one government, you failed in Obote two government, you failed in Tito Okello government and you have failed in the very long lived Museveni government. You are no longer a political role model and you should never be trusted sir. You own a political party that is dead and in my lifetime I am going to witness an election in Uganda where UPC fails to win a single constituency. Why should you qualify as a political role model in our sorry state? So the entire manajatwa of I am leaving the forum you are building is total nonsense for the facts I have stated remain facts sir. And yes it is a threat because UAH is a forum with clear instructions on how to self-unsubscribe, seriously through your so praised education you have never read them? Why don't you simply unsubscribe yourself but beg Abbey Semuwemba to unsubscribe you? Peter Simon that was totally too childish, silly, uncalled for but plainly stupid for you to do for society expects you to know better than threatening EM. And by the way just for the record, if you so fear traumatizing us and you have decided to leave the forum, kindly bite me on your way out.
It just appalls me to understand where you people came from, Ge'ez !!!!!!!

Abbey,
It was good participating in UAH. I am pulling out on two accounts:
1. Mulindwa states that I was included to discuss Uganda's problems even though I am a UPC. This means there is undisclosed recruitment mechanism. This offends me because if that is
the case, then the forum has disappointed me.
2. My analysis seems to trigger past traumatic experiences of victims of torture as Mulindwa points out and as I work with such populations, it is against my professional ethics to engage in
debates with people that may be triggered again. Now that I know what Mulindwa went through, I feel for him and the best I can do is for me to pull out.
Yours truly,
Peter Simon Okurut
