*KAMPALA-* Denis Lutwama Kasule, the son of Court of Appeal justice Remmy
Kasule, has died in the United States under mysterious circumstances.
Lutwama's body was discovered last week behind his apartment in Denver,
Colorado.
Accounts of the aftermath reveal that his body was found unresponsive in an
alley behind his apartment building. The apartment door was wide open when
police arrived.
Justice Kasule in his internal communication to fellow judicial officers
dated June 24, attributed his son's death to multiple assaults though there
was no definite cause to that effect.
Family speaks out
"It is with profound sadness that I and my wife Florence inform you of the
death of our son. He was found dead with multiple assaults outside his
residential apartment in Denver, Colorado, USA," Justice Kasule stated.
He added: "It is hoped that the body will arrive in Uganda within two
weeks' time. Kindly pray for us."
The 37-year-old has been living in Denver, Colorado where he and a couple
of friends had set up their trading business. The Denver Police are still
investigating his demise.
