{UAH} Ocen, Kipenji//UPDF explains search of Nina Mbabazi office
Folks;
UPDF prides itself as a professional military. Unfortunately, it's an incident like this that calls to question how professional UPDF actually is.
We learn here that a joint military unit, assigned to conduct impromptu audits of all private security firms, stormed one such firm owned by our own Nina Mbabazi. So far so ggood, until we also learn that they stormed the firm's offices, ransacked Nina's offices, and shouted out a flurry of questions about arms inventory and storage status.
To start with, not everyone who works in that office is familiar with the daily procedures that govern the acquisition and distribution of arms.
There are key management officials who could easily fields those questions; so, there was no need for the inspectors to yell at the staff.
Secondly, the security agents must have known that Nina was out of the office; so, what was so urgent that could not wait for her to return?
And, thirdly, if they were inspecting all private security firms within Kampala, how come they only showed this level of force at Nina's outfit, and there's no evidence that they showed up elsewhere?
Something is not adding up, folks, but may be it's a subject of subtraction: Nina's daddy is no longer a favorite of the ruling regime.
