SV: SV: {UAH} why is there no Airport Buses
GOOK, damn right you are about the "SERVICE PROVISION" aspect.
But, njaaaa, dumping every dirt on the President or leaders
without providing evidence inform of propositions that have been
rejected is not good enough.
Many of these initiatives don't have to come from the President or leaders alone.
All citizen (( you alike)), have a right to initiate propositions.
Perhaps someones here could help produce evidence of the rejected proposition
to the effect?
One thing I have observed about Ugandan is the inability to place demand.
When you have time, please try to take a taxi ride to Jomayi estates through
Kitebi-Nalumunye-Lunya and down to Entebbe road through Segguko center. Or better still,
use your own ride and see if it does not become "service ready".
The roads are so bad that I sympathize with the cars instead.
The paradox is that those Shilling stinking owners of those excessively
huge properties use tthose "roads" everyday without complaining!!
I did a certain trick at one of those worst stretches around Nalumunye
((near the super market)). It worked very well.
THAT VERY SAME EVENING AND THE DAY AFTER,THOSE PARTICULAR POTHOLES
WERE ATTENDED TO-LEVELED SMOOTH!!!!
I guess, they had to panic because they did not know whom we were or
how we were going to use the info we were documenting.
The next day when I took a Taxi through the same route, CATERPILLARS were
busy.
To bad we did not do the same at Seguko-Lunya side off Entebe road. THAT IS THE
MOTHER OF BAD ROADS. After climbing that track, you head straight to the toilet!!

Noc,
The key words are " service provision" especially for those few who might not be able to provide their own transport to the airport!
But then I know these terms are allien to your " no party" and your "visionary " leader?

--I have another opinion (( as regards Airport buses)).I was one of the first Africans to work at TORSLANDA AIRPORT in Göteborg, Sweden. After that, we moved to Landvetter Airport when it was built. Still I was the first African to work there. From that time to date, I know that many a times, these Airport buses go empty!!!!!!I also know that in Uganda, many of these service providers are private. So, in my opinion. the initial procrrding point is regulation of contracted service providers!!Noc'la gaumoy"WE FORM THE CULTURE THAT FORMS US"….noc'la gaumoy.Den söndag, 26 juli 2015 17:37 skrev 'joseph ochieno' via Ugandans at Heart (UAH) Community <ugandans-at-heart@googlegroups.com>:
--Dan Bwanika,Uganda is just fine. And while the private sector might have a role to play, main transport links to places like Entebbe need not be their jobs. The fastest, cheapest and most convenient link to London's Heathrow airport is the tube, a public owned project.Just that Ugandans sometimes get silly, they outsourced the ownership of their country -emotively, Obama would say - onto the hands of dubious 'private' families and their mafia links. Traffic is simply that results are 'out'.Ugandans should just believe in better - if they can liberate their 'minds.....souls.....and the emotive prejudices' that fed a few criminals in the bushes.Ochieno======On Sunday, 26 July 2015, 15:34, Dan Bwanika <bulemezi@gmail.com> wrote:
