SV: {UAH} Uganda Ex-Premier to Run as Independent in Presidential Vote

I read here on UAH that both Hon Amama Mbabzi,
Tinye have been eyeing the chief executive seat way back. And, both have been Chief spies who have built up supporter cells every where.
So, as the same speculation and hypothetical mood goes
this is a world where everybody knows everybody and everybody
backstabbs everybody?
In other words, what the one sets out to do, the other
also knows?
All intelligent squad?
But, where does that leave the other team mates and runner ups?
They too have stakes, don't they?
It is not that simple.
AMEN.

Use is the word there, isn't it?
"Use them" or give in and allow them use you?

I tend to consider the window tilted with "I shall be nominated AND ULTIMATELY, I SHALL BE THE PRESIDENT".

Even more so, Hon Amama Mbabazi hinted he shall never leave the NRM.
In other words, closing the door on the oppositions condition?

Henry,That is an advantage even the opposition can utilise but seem not to care. if you have mbababzi and Tinyefuza, who were on the other side and are willing to give you free information, then why not use them.that is crucial in blocking all the rigging methods

The good thing is that Mbabazi is fully aware of the tactics Museveni will employ.

They were stealing elections together, so he knows how to go about beating him at their own game.

Former Ugandan Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi will run as an independent in presidential polls scheduled for early 2016 after dropping plans to challenge President Yoweri Museveni for the ruling party's nomination.
Mbabazi scrapped his bid for the National Resistance Movement's ticket after his declaration was met with "great hostility by the top party leadership," he said Friday in an e-mailed statement from the capital, Kampala.
"I will not stand in NRM as a flag-bearer, but I will carry on with my intentions," Mbabazi, 66, said.
The ex-premier's withdrawal leaves Museveni, who's ruled Uganda for almost three decades, as the only contender for the NRM endorsement. Other countries in the region such as Burundi and neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo have seen fatal unrest this year amid protests by opponents of changes to presidential term limits.
Uganda, which is Africa's biggest coffee exporter, is on the cusp of becoming an oil producer, with companies such as London-based Tullow Oil, China National Offshore Oil Corp. and France's Total SA jointly developing the nation's estimated 6.5 billion barrels of crude.
Museveni, 70, who came to power in 1986 after a five-year guerrilla war, picked up party nomination papers on Friday afternoon, Don Wanyama, a presidency spokesman, said on his Twitter account.

Fired, Arrested

Mbabazi, who was fired as prime minister in September, announced mid-June that he would seek the presidency in elections due to be held in the first quarter of next year.
Mbabazi was arrested July 9 as he planned to start raising support to challenge Museveni within the party. He was released hours later. Museveni may also face a challenge from Kizza Besigye, the main opposition leader who's lost three previous elections and is seeking the nomination of the Forum for Democratic Change.
Museveni is one of Africa's longest serving presidents, alongside Teodoro Obiang Nguema of Equatorial Guinea and Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe. He ruled for his first 10 years without elections, before winning four polls, the most recent in 2011.
