SV: {UAH} why is there no Airport Buses

Henry,
"UGANDAN DRIVER'S MIND SET"?!?!
Hmmmmm, don't even go there!

Down "Inner city congestion commerce district", every one break all rules
and sadly, the traffic police is included!!!

In fact, the traffic police and law enforcement agents break
more rules through negligence and suffrance.

They are also enjoying the congestion rythm flow and blow the whistle
"twiii-twii-twii-tutuuuu-tuttu-tututu.." as the taxi drivers
and Bodas hold the tact-"tUTTUT...'GOLOBI-'GLOBI" (Bugolobi)-"'zira-uzira"(Luzira). Ant the Born thrice adds..."ate yesu, nyokko mulungu.."
and the "shop conductor" is busy..."mutwalleeekanana-kanana-"

It is a whole world of out there. They breat, talk, live and dream congestion!!

You know what, even the shop keepers have no time for a lunch break.
You find them enjoying their meals in the mingle ((right outside on the pavements-in the dusty, noisy and stinking pavement atmosphere!!!!)

The congestion mood goes up should there be a power-cut. Then all the generators join in the chaos. The shops and galleries are so full and congested that the public safety authorities must come with new rules.

should fire start inside the galleries along Lowum street, hell would break loose.

Yet you can distortedly sight an armed guard sleeping -fully
loaded!!

You see bodas carring loads enough for a car and with no markings.

Watch out especially around Owino and Nakasero Markets. A lorry could be carring long metal rods, long pipes, long bars of wood that extend several meters behind and / or infront, yet, completely without warning or marking. And, passes magestically right infront of a Police!

Lorries are rebuilt to carry more goods than the original
registration allowed ( ex makaras and matresses) and no one check their registrations.

Poor police, they are always in a cross-road mode:while they are on after one, another starts right infront of them......
Noc'la gaumoy

"WE FORM THE CULTURE THAT FORMS US"….noc'la gaumoy.

U think what u have said is enough to make u a worthy competitor for a hero medal for having decongested Uganda road system.? What about Ugandan drivers' mind set? Will they obey traffic rules?

How about Museveni's military escorts. Aren;t they above the law?

And the boda boda boys.....can they respect other road users? Aren't they also like Musevenis military escorts?

If you answer these questions satisfactorily then u might win that hero's medal.

I am doing a concerted effort to study Kampala Traffic jams - indeed there is a multilayed solution and will totally reduce Traffic jams.

Government must however throw in some money to implement the program.

The major strategy is to develop Jinja, replan Buloba ,Mpigi and Entebbe and Bombo/Luwero axis.

many road intersections do not have traffic lights - that is a problem

Then observation of highway, road and traffic laws in relation to change city building architecture

we need a public transport system and a combination of all mode of transport system.

there is need of  moving all bulky trade out of the city to Kyambogo and industrail centre.

there is also need to reorganise the city road system.

Best

Why is there no public transport system between
Kampala and the airport?
Are we still waiting for the private sector to solve
this immediate issue?
How do you reduce traffic on Entebbe road is it
by increasing private traffic - Uganda is annoying
