{UAH} ANALYSIS: After Muslims, Politicians Next?

ANALYSIS: After Muslims, Could It Be Today's Ugandan Politicians Next?

In my duty to raise awareness, allow me to write this exposé as it might deter any possible escalation.

If you ever hear a person telling another that "Mr. X knows too much", be sure to unhear it for your own safety.

There definitely is some incriminating information that they fear being leaked.

In such circumstances, it means Mr. X has switched sides and has therefore now become a liability.

His available options are either to run to exile, reconcile, silence or battle.

Does Mbabazi know too much? Sure!

The reasons for secret meetings between opponents are to silence the so-called "traitor".

Sometimes job offers are made to woe him back. Other times cash exchanges hands. But the worst case scenario is also well known.

Such issues are usually under consideration at the highest political/security circles. It is their responsibility to prepare for or avert any serious eventualities.

Targeting prominent Ugandans is a well reported strategy used by FRONASA in the 70's to tarnish the sitting government and get public/international support.

Mbabazi and Museveni were both FRONASA planners.

So besides each other, who would you consider a high value political target for these two people?

Bear in mind that if any opposition politician disappears, or is found unresponsive (even by suicide), world opinion will automatically hold the sitting president responsible.

Similarly, if anyone in government disappears, officials could choose to blame a disgruntled Mr. X.

Unfortunately that mentality allows them to target their own people as they have Mr. X to blame it on and public sympathy to indirectly gain.

Especially if it is a person known to have previous political enmity with Mr. X.

However, the larger problem is as follows: If this is the situation, isn't Justice and Democracy the last thing on certain peoples minds today?

Let's wait and see!
