At least 45 ISIS militants are thought to have been killed after breaking their Ramadan fast to eat a poisoned meal.
Around 145 people gathered to eat the 'iftar', a meal which breaks the daily Ramadan fast, in Mosul, Iraq, according to local media.
But 45 of the group were killed after eating the poisoned meal, although it is unclear whether it was deliberately poisoned.
However, Haaretz has speculated that the meal was targeted – as soldiers from the Free Syrian Army reportedly managed to pose as chefs last November, poisoning the lunches of Isis militants and killing at least 10.
In contrasting images, women and young children can be seen desperately queuing for food and water in Raqqa, Syria.

very high education. We can call Obote all bad names we have, but the bottom line remains that he got more scholarships for Buganda than all previous Uganda leaders combined. That includes Sir Edward Mutesa, President Lule, President Binayisa, up to and into Ssabasajja Mutebi. Who all happen to be Baganda leaders." Mulindwa
