1.Clan Head of Mamba clan of Buganda Kingdom. The late Jjajja Omutaka Gabunga Yosiya Kasozi III (Omugenzi) of Gabunga Road at Kabowa village, found in Lubaga sub-county, in Kyaddondo County. He became Gabunga in 1959 until 2009. He succeeded his father Gabunga Simon Ssenyonyi Galiwango II. Traditionally, Gabunga does not die because his heir is there. Gabunga Yosiya Kasozi III was succeded by his son Jjajja Omutaka Gabunga Zziikwa-Mubiru of Gabunga Road, Kabowa, Kampala. Gabunga yakuuma empingu ya Kabaka ku nnyanja okuva edda nedda.
2.Mary Stuart from which Mary Stuart Hall of Makerere University was named.Mary Stuart Hall was completed in 1953 and named in honour of Bishop Stuart's wife, who worked hard for the betterment of women education and economic empowerment of native women by going up the career ladder. Mary-Stuart, in the busuuti, was the wife of Dr. Stuart of the historic C.MS. Hospital on Mengo Hill, Kibuga, also called Namirembe or Mengo Hospital.Mary Stuarta was buried on Namirembe Hill in the Church Yard. Bishop Edgar Stuart in the Kanzu on this picture was 3rd Bishop of the Diocese of Uganda. In 1935, Bishop arrived in Buganda Kingdom, to serve as Bishop at Namirembe, with his dear Mary by his side. In 1953 the Stuarts retired from active service after having played a tremendous role in the socio-economic transformation of many peoples' lives in the country .
they got integrated by learning to speak and write the native Luganda language while living in Buganda Kingdom. And you wonder, when you some Kalyegiras in Kibuga saying that they hate Luganda and Buganda and they yet they live and work in Buganda, and no one forced them to migrate or leave their lands to come to Buganda which they hate so much.it is like a person voluntarily leaving his or her home country, to live and work in London, and then start abusing the hospitality and preaching hate against the English culture, language and traditional institutions of the native English Londoners.
