This is what Haji Katerregga has his eyes trained on, is it not? He
also wants free booty like the current lot of MPs. The Ugandan
parliament will always remain a rubber stamp parliament because of the
excessive greed consuming most MPs. This money was not even demanded
by the MPs but Kayibanda decided to give it to them nevertheless. They
just woke up in the morning to find the money in their bank accounts.
Only one or two have offered to return it to tht taxpayer. Kayibanda
now understands the psychology of these so-called MPs. They are driven
by money, not principles. And it does not matter whether they are in
government or opposition. They are all the same. In my view,
parliament serves no useful purpose in Uganda today. They should all
be made to refund these illegal payments when we establish a new order
in Uganda.

Members of Parliament have received Shs100 million each in their
personal accounts as fuel...
