{UAH} Museveni Disowns Arrested ‘UPDF Colonel’ Ochola

Folks,

I don't believe M7 did not know what this man was doing in Lango. The man was traveling in SUV's with heavily armed escorts.
He is now another statistic condom. Ugandans never learn it appears.

Lawrence Johnson Ochola is still detained at SIU Kireka

President Yoweri Museveni has distanced himself from the UPDF imposter Lawrence Johnson Ochola who was thought to be on a sensitive and special assignment entrusted to him by the number one citizen.

Ochola, who was until recently referred to as Colonel, was arrested by the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence on Monday this week from Kampala and has so far spent 6 days in detention without the intervention of the president who is also the Commander-in-Chief.

The "colonel" was moved out of Makindye that very day and handed over to the police's Special Investigations Unit Kireka who are carrying out investigations on three charges against him including purporting to be a member of the national army – UPDF; obtaining money by false pretence and threatening violence.

His continued detention forced the leaders from Lango who were meeting the president on Thursday about issues affecting the region to ask Museveni to enlighten them about Ochola.

The meeting that took place at State House Entebbe was attended by Bishop of West Lango Diocese, Rt. Rev. Acur Okodi, Minister Sam Engola, Members of Parliament including Okot Ogong of Dokolo, Tony Ayo of Kwania, and Health Commissioner Ruth Adupa among others.

According to sources who attended the meeting, the president's visitors were silently shocked to see him not bothered by the "Colonel" whose actions have sparked off a huge public debate in Lango.

"Your Excellency, there is one thing we have failed to understand. Our son "Colonel" Ochola has been in police detention for some days and there nothing done yet despite our struggle. We heard that you were the one who put him in Karuma (dam construction project) but he has been picked from there," Bishop Acur reportedly said, according to a source who asked not to be named.

Without mincing words, Museveni openly told the leaders he was not aware about any UPDF Colonel known as Ochola before asking his visitors to let police do its work.

"I don't know about that Ochola man and as you have said my Lord Bishop that he is with the police, let the police continue with its work and I believe he will be released when they are done," the president reportedly told Lango leaders.

State House earlier denied any knowledge about Ochola who was practically the overall boss at Karuma.

He is accused of creating and sustaining an atmosphere of terror by disguising as a powerful UPDF Colonel.
