{UAH} Ocen, SP//Three shot dead as armed thugs raid Luwero village

Folks;

I have two quick observational comments about this tragedy;

1. The assailants were after money, and they made that clear, and ordered everyone down with eyes closed. The first victim did not obey that order, and even confronted the armed hooligans. Big mistake; don't play hero when faced with an armed gangster, especially when the thug is after something or someone else.

2. The list of victims and witnesses shows that despite its tumultuous history in the last 30 years, Luwero remains the melting pot that it always has been: Ugandans from all tribes continue to find home in Luwero and are living as one Ugandan family.

That's the consolation that I find in this criminal tragedy.
