{UAH} Should we continue getting stuck to analog TV for the sake of protecting votes?

I have a feeling that Uganda would have been the poorest and most backward country in the whole world had it been led to independence by NRM and specifically the current President. With an ever deteriorating shilling against world's major currencies, the nrm should change its monetary policy for us to have the strong economy that we all want.

The digital migration was an example of our perpetual misguided policies. Same as the 'Kavera' ban.I predicted that come campaigns, this migration will be reversed. If the current regime wanted to mean that they sympathise with the poor they would have just offered a free to air digital top box to poor but not allowing to go back to analog.

Those set top boxes do not cost more than 10 dollars ex factory. Government should give a tax waiver to the importers such that they can go for a maximum of fifty thousand shillings. In the meantime, analogue and digital platforms can run concurrently
