{UAH} Why do we've fuel depots in Kampala?! Oraba, Nimule , Mirama, Cyanika, Gatuna, Malaba, Busia, Bunagana, Mutukula

It is high the government start building these boarder towns into real commercial centres. Normally the government will physically plan- site planning the area and then source for investment funds for a total build up. Building is done by the private sector (PPP).

The facilities are owned by government and run by Town/Municipal councils and business people rent at a premium and an annual rental fee

Nimule and Oraba need the following

a.  Ware Houses (cold/dry) and bonded houses

b.  Residential facilities

c. Commericial facilities

Malaba and upcoming railway towns

e. good shades in addition to the above

f. Industrial sights

g. small scale processing location (Oraba, Nimule, Malaba/Busia)

The same should happen with some inland ports like Lwampanga, Namasale, Late on kyoga (Kojweri) near soroti and Kigingi or Bukungu in Kamuli Busoga

Kyambogo goodshades and bonded house should move to Mpigi and Luwero respectively as a matter of national security.

Transportation of petroleum products from Iganga should come with Train to Kampala.

The first depot/distribution point should be in Buloba or Bujuko on Mityana road and move all petroluem product depots out of the city.
