SV: {UAH} Mechanic friend arrested on suspicion of murder of 'beautiful and talented' city Ugandan lawyer who was found strangled at her home

George,
How about if it were the other way round: the man is 33 and the lover is a 23 year old girl?
I guess that makes many of us men hypocrites, not so?
This is a very sad moment for the family.
May her soul rest

John Kwitonda,

Probably thats the cause of this tragedy because I can't imagine in my
mind that a 33 year old solicitor would go out with a 23 year old boy.
The Solicitor's firm this girl trained with, Leigh Day is one of the
top international law firms in the world- they handled the Mau Mau and
Masai cases from Kenya. They  are so prestigious that over 200 lawyers
apply for the 10 training places they offer every year. My young niece
Rachel failed to get one this year, but got one with a firm which is
not that well known. Solicitors training takes two years and it mainly
unpaid. Without it, you can't get enrolled even though you have a very
good University degree. It is actually the pinnacle of training to
become a lawyer and those who achieve it make a lot of sacrifices
along the way. Thats why I would be at a loss to explain why a
seemingly very intelligent girl would go out with a mechanic, 10 years
her junior. Lets wait for the trial in about 10 months time when the
details of her gruesome murder will come out in court. You know, some
of these young people who have grown up in Uganda- some are taken by
their relatives to study in Uganda- return to the UK with a lot of
emotional and psychological baggage. Thats why we now try to convince
Ugandan parents not to send their children to study in Uganda. It is
better to struggle with them here, howver hard and expensive.
