A POEM TO PRESIDENT POA

1) Patrick Oboi Amuriat - POA,

Son of an Itesot father and Acholi mother,

I am Stella Nyanzi of the Buffalo clan,

And a daughter of Baganda parents.

I will vote for you as my president.

This is my solemn promise to you!

2) Patrick Oboi Amuriat - POA,

A tall lean man from the east of Uganda,

I am a short fat woman from the south west.

You enjoy atapa millet, but I prefer matooke.

And yet I will vote for you as my president.

This is my solemn promise to you!

3) Patrick Oboi Amuriat - POA,

A professional engineer excellent in sciences,

With a record of scoring A in mathematics,

I am an anthropologist who knows the arts,

And excelled in literature, history, economics.

But I will vote for you as my president.

This is my solemn promise to you!

4) Patrick Oboi Amuriat - POA,

You and I may be different in millions of ways

But I know you as a tested and trusted leader.

I trust your devotion to the liberation of Uganda.

I celebrate your eloquence and defiance!

And I will vote for you as my president.

This is my solemn promise to you.
