{UAH} ELIZA WAMALA IS A HEROE

She may not be my Heroine but when it comes to fighting for justice, Eliza Wamala is a true Heroine. Three years down the road, she has trotted between London and Kampala, in search of justice for her slain husband. As she was almost there, after she had captured the prime witness, the same was murdered in police custody. But she fought on. Below is her statement thanking all those that have stood by her throughout this agonizing process. Indeed, its easy to die or be killed under Museveni and the killers get away with it:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't however set out to be a hero but got involved in the struggle to get my husband Justice when it became clear that someone within the force thought he had the right to commit crimes with impunity. The realisation that the force was involved in my husbands murder made my stomach churn hence the dedication to expose and let the public know who was indeed behind these murders. Those who are supposed to protect our lives and property had ganged up with mafias and criminals to murder many of the businessmen who perished around the same time as my husband. I have worked with many to expose those who thought were untouchables. I was over whelmed by the fact that these people were using their offices to commit these murders. Unknown to us, the struggle meant that many people's lives would be saved. Every avenue was blocked but we never lost the enthusiasm to fight on.

Finally, we shall have time to start the grieving process; to grieve for our best friend, a husband and a father. I only pray that none of you ever have to go through what we have been through. It has been such a painful experience. Thank you for keeping that fire burning.I am happy that you all honour this struggle, i am truly humbled and I appreciate your comments. Thank you for following, we are almost there, thanks for your prayers. God bless you always.

Thank you for the undivided support and thank you for believing in me. For all those who stood by me and dismissed all the labels and the character assassination. You are my heroes too. May God bless all of you. Always.
