{UAH} FW: [UAA-DFW] Peter Mukunya For UNAA Executive Secretary
Bwana Mukunya:
Just like the other three candidates who have already declared their intentions to serve UNAA, in the following capacities; President, V/President, Treasurer, and now Executive secretary, without any challengers, one can say that you too are uncontested, unopposed therefore, safely to say "Congratulations!"
For the record, the most hotly contested elections have been during the last fifteen year's, with particular landmarks of the following election year's;
2003 [Boston] 2005 [Minnesota] 2007 [San Francisco] 2009 [Chicago] 2011 [Denver] 2013 [Dallas] as the highly spirited election year's throughout the twenty seven years of the organization's existence. There are a number of differing schools of thought as to why the upcoming or the lack thereof the Louisiana 2015 general elections are not attracting momentum and interest from the prospective voters and member's in general. One of the reasons among others which drew a lot of criticism during the last elections in Dallas was due to the fact that FOUR out of SEVEN member's of Brian Kwesiga's executive were drawn from the same State of Texas and pretty much from close neighborhoods of the Dallas metro.
In order to repeat and sustain the Mr. Brian Mushana Kwesiga's turbulent legacy, New Orleans, Louisiana, had to be strategically selected for easy transportation access and facilitation for the vulnerable young Dallas/Fort-worth voters during this election year. I only hope that this time around, there will be no need for playing more of the political gimmicks which were obviously played by Brian's advisers during last year's election and throughout his two year's as UNAA's CEO.
BTW, i wish to further inform you IMHO that as one of the longest former officers and the only two term president, the acronym of the organization which you once served as VP, is "UAA-DFW" not "UAA". Furthermore, without going in details of the shameful security department during the 2013 Dallas convention, all i can say is that it was a disaster. In other words, that is not something one should be proudly fronting. Lastly, the "UNAA council" has been dysfunctional from day one. I wonder how you have been making it work when you do not even have the required constitutional quorum to make any decisions on behalf of the organization.
.I wish you well, brother.
