Subject: INTRODUCING & WELCOMING THE NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS OF LANGO

Dear Community Members,
On behalf of the newly elected committee members of Lango Association
UK, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who
attended the Annual General Meeting and took part in the elections on
Saturday 27th July 2015 at Charlton United Reform Church,109a,
Bramshot Avenue, London SE7 7HX.
We had our first committee meeting on 8th August 2015. The meeting
was very productive, unifying and members resolved to work tirelessly
to unite and serve Lango community here and abroad. Members pledged to
serve the Community with diligence and oneness. During this
meeting,
the Committee members emphasised Unity of purpose and need to work as
a family with the sole aim of achieving vast development for our
community.
Find below a list of the current LA UK Executive Structure:
1. CHAIRMAN: Alfred Odyero Ogwal
2. VICE CHAIRMAN: James Ameny
3.
SECRETARY: Geoffrey Odur
4. VICE SECRETARY: Joan Echil
5. TREASURER: Reagan Alfred Odongo
6. VICE TREASURER: Gertrude Alori
7. PROJECTS & FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR: Simon Henry Opio Emuna
8. DEPUTY PROJECTS & FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR: Ms Joyce Akello-Lanek
9. YOUTH COORDINATOR: Norah Kerwegi
10. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER: Dennis Elvis Omara
11. COMMUNITY LIAISON & PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER: Edward T Onapa
We will organise an official date for handover by the outgoing
committee members to the current team. A date and venue will be
arranged and communicated in time so the members of the community can
attend the inauguration ceremony of new office bearers.
