{UAH} Let us pull down colonial boundaries, says Kenyatta
Colleagues,
We need more of the Kenyattas in Africa but they must involve their wanainchi; this is what I have all longed for. When you go to western Kenya, for an Etesot, a Pojim or Mugishu, all that you see is a familiar scene found at home in Uganda, be it language, customs, and for us Iteso, visitors are introduced and shown where they can graze from and where they shouldn't because of clan relationships.
I support the full integration and whoever takes over from President Museveni next year should hasten the integration but what do most Ugandans say?
Let us do away with these boundaries that were imposed on us. While in Katale (Turkan land) I interacted and conversed freely with the Turkana in our local language (Ateso/Ngakarimojong/Turukan).
Peter Simon
