{UAH} Ocen, WBK//UPDF plays Kanu song for Uhuru!

Folks;

What a way to start the week: Our professionalized, enlightened army belts our a Kanu-praising song in honor of the Jubilee Coalition president, Uhuru Kenyatta!

I can only speculate as to how this mix-up came about:

1. UPDF has does not have any other "patriotic songs" about Kenya. And since Kanu and Uhuru share umbilical cord, UPDF saw no harm in whipping "Kanya yajenga nchi."

2. Kenyan military and police bands do not have any newer songs because it''s their responsibility to feed such songs to all friendly countries where their president might visit.

3. It's time Kenya, and Africa in general, came up with neutral songs that can outlive a president or his party.
