{UAH} Response to MUKASA: UNAA leaders

Mr Mukasa,
I can't speak for UNAA leaders but I think there two possible reasons:
1. to mislead the court that we needed more members to get to the needed 10% required by law. On page 13 of their response to our motion for Judgment on the Pleadings, they allege that:
"Under UNAA's Constitution, 40% of the members must appear to obtain a quorum; Section 6A requires a consensus of at least 10% of that quorum to call a special meeting.  Since 544 constitute a quorum of the 1,359 members, 55 members would be necessary to petition for the meeting".
 2. If it wasn't for the current impasse in UNAA, 2015 was supposed to be an election year. In anticipation of those elections, they might have planned to inflate the voters' list. By this time in 2013, the members' list was displayed on unaa.org.  Today, they are displaying about 600 names, most of whom are no longer members because they did not renew their membership.  By claiming that UNAA has 1,359 members, they might revealing that the vast majority of members are on a secret list (i.e ghost members). Keep in mind that they also secretly added several people to their Election Commission. It is good that we will not have elections this year...otherwise, we'd end up with more confusion!
As for your question about talking to them, we have wanted that for a year.  That is why we requested them to call a special meeting but they refused!
thanks
