{UAH} Supreme Court Orders Lawyer Muwema Arrest over Shs 4bn

The Supreme Court of Uganda has directed the arrest of top city lawyers particularly Fred Muwema for refusing to pay Shs4.2bn to Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) which they unlawfully collected on behalf of oil companies in the country.

The Supreme Court registrar directed Moses Kirunda of Spearlink Auctioneers & Court Bailiffs to "execute this process to bring the judgement debtors before the court with all the convenient speed."

Police was also instructed to ensure the execution of the warrant is done in an "orderly and peaceful manner."
