Air Seychelles to start flying to Uganda

Air Seychelles continues to extend its network reach into Africa with the expansion of its Etihad Airways code-share agreement to Entebbe, Uganda, reports said on Thursday.Under a new code-sharing agreement with Etihad airways, the airline will place its flight code on four weekly flights operated by Etihad Airways between Entebbe and Abu Dhabi, where guests have connection options to and from Seychelles.
The code-share flights also offer convenient access to the Ugandan capital of Kampala.
Air Seychelles Chief Executive Officer Roy Kinnear, says they are pleased to expand their code-share with Etihad Airways to include Uganda, which is experiencing a period of impressive economic growth.
“Backed by strong economic development, Uganda has seen a corresponding and significant rise in the number of leisure travelers, who now have convenient, one-stop access to Seychelles,� he added.
According to Kinnear, by working together with Etihad Airways and South African Airways, the airline has been able to expand their network to nine destinations in Africa.
