{UAH} Amama accepts Nomination
TDA has decided. Seven out of nine political formations endorsed the candidature of #Amama. Other individuals who endorsed him outside of the political formations included Former Buganda PM Owek Mulwanyamuli, Dr Matembe, Imam Kasozi, Rev Fr Gaetano, Rt Bishop Ocola and Hon Zakari Olum to mention but a few.
Excerpts from the speech he gave below:
"I accept the nomination. This hasn't been an easy progress but when we face our opponent it won't be any easier. To my fellow Candidates - Mao and Bukenya, I salute your sense of duty and willingness to put our country first. The doors of Cooperation are still open to Dr. Kizza Besigye. Let us put the parallels from the past behind for the good of unity because if this administration has a plan for the future, then they are keeping it a secret. Our primary focus must be on the future of Uganda. We are wiser and stronger if we make this our focal point of our struggle. We are fighting for the future of this country and a new age dawns. I look forward to working with all of you. Let's Go forward"
Question and Answer session now underway.
