{UAH} Buganda Land Board Visits UK Sept 2015 for Land Registration, Land Sale & Advice.

Dear Sir / Madam,

As advertised in Empapula Za Kakobe June - July 2015 pages 7 and 11, Buganda Land Board (BLB) are back, for the third year running, in the UK to address all those Ugandans interested in getting a lease on Kabaka's land and any other land issues in general. 

They are here until the 27th September to visit Crawley, South London, North London, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester. Also available for one to one consultation, by appointment, in Central Croydon, Monday 21st - Thursday 24th September.

This time the emphasis will be on:

1.LAND REGISTRATION: 

Those of you who are on Kabaka's land but have not yet registered your tenancy this is your opportunity to do so at reduced promotional rates. For registering and surveying your lease in Kyaddondo and Busiro the promotional rate is  Ug Shs 600,000 (just under £120 at current foreign exchange rates) instead of the usual Ug Shs 1,200,000. For all other counties, the promotional rate is Ug Shs. 100,000 (just under £20 at current fx rates) instead of the usual Ug. Shs 250,000. The promotion ends 31st October. 

For these other counties the fee excludes surveying. If your area has already been visited by the promotional team,you have missed the boat but you are still strongly advised to take advantage of the BLB team's presence in the UK to start the ball rolling to register your lease.

2. LAND FOR SALE: 

There are pieces of land of various sizes in different ares of Buganda now available for lease from Buganda Land Board. If you are interested please get in touch. Take advantage at the current favourable all time high £ - Ug Shs exchange rate!

3. STATUS OF YOUR LAND FILE: 

If you have made a transaction which is still pending with Buganda Land Board and you would like to know why it seems to be dragging, come with your file particulars and they will tell you the status while they are still here.

4. If you want advice / information about getting, extending or disposing a lease on Kabaka's land the team is here to help you.

5. If you want  general advice on land ownership issues in Uganda in general, the team is happy to help you.
