Job offer from: LidlAs a Customer Assistant in one of our 600+ stores
throughout the UK, you?ll be more than a friendly face and helping
hand to our customers. You?ll also be an ambassador of our brand.
Some supermarkets like to have their staff specialise in a certain
area of the store. We don?t, and instead, at Lidl we will train you in
all areas of our store operations. That way you?ll be able to lend a
hand to any task, both on the shop floor and behind the scenes. We

environment; one in which everyone is highly trained and able to work
together and support one another.
Depending on the size of your store, your team could have anywhere
between 6 and 50 people on it. You?ll have a Store Manager, at least
one Deputy Store Manager, other Customer Assistants and possibly a
Caretaker. Our stores are also open 7 days per week, usually from 8am
? 9pm which means our sales jobs can offer varied shift contracts
allowing you to work between 10 & 40 hours per week.
Due to a significant increase in both our sales and customer turnover,
some of our Stores now also offer nightshift contracts.

A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills

The ability to be flexible
To enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied environment, hitting targets
and meeting deadlines
To work well in teams and take pride in a job well done
Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but this is
not essential provided you have the right attitude
What will you do?
Assist the Store Management team with all areas of store operations,
including operating checkouts, handling cash, managing stock,
freshness checks, unpacking deliveries and ensuring your store is
always clean and tidy.
