{UAH} DEMISE OF A NATIONAL HERO

Brothers and sisters, l join others to mourn the demise of a national
hero, Gen. Aronda Nyakairima. l first came to know him in 1994 when he
was a Deputy DMI and one of the 10 NRA representatives in C.A. He was
quiet and said only once, when the late Abu Mayanja wanted Buganda to
be one district.This was after a failure by Buganda to get a federal
status. Aronda warned politicians against such utterances.
In Masaka, where he was a brigade Commander of the Mechanized Brigade,
Aronda was political but not partisan, and of course, he did not only
defeat Joseph kony in Operation Iron Fist but also delivered when it
came to producing National ID, ennangamuntu/ndagamuntu. densite
y'obunannsi. Kitalo nnyo nnyini ddala!!!
I watched Gen.Katumba Wamala saying on TV last night, that no other
person died on the plane other than himself self.
Lt.Col.Paddy Ankunda said a medical team led by Brig.Patrick Makumbi
had left for Dubai for investigations. It included Aronda's sister and
her husband.
