{UAH} History should be required subject from POne to University

Dear Dr.Cleophus Mugenyi

An appeal is extended to you as Director of Education to make History a required subject from Primary one up to the end of one's academic career.

Please recall how the Ex-servicemen, the veterans, Baakawonawos, were ferried in thousands to Buyaga and Bugangaizi counties to vote in the 1964 referendum.

The Central Government objected and Buganda kingdom initiated a legal case in the Uganda High Court demanding that the Baakawonawos be allowed to vote in the referendum.

Buganda Kingdom lost the case in the Uganda High Court. The Baganda appealed to the British Privy Council which also said the Bakawonawos cannot vote in the Buyaga and Bugangaizi referendum.

So, you can see something which looked rather small went up to the Uganda High Count and crossed borders and went to the UK highest Court of Appeal, the Privy Council.
