{UAH} A triumphant Pope Francis in Cuba, now poised to quake the USA!
Pope Francis has just ended his pastoral visit to Cuba as a real world hero venerated
by the entire Caribbean island as the person who will help Cubans to improve their lot
particularly when his call for an end to the embargo continues to be well received by
President Obama who has just given the Pope a historic momentous welcome in Washington
this afternoon! Seen off at havana international airport by President Raoul Catsro and his entire
cabinet, the Pope perhaps had joy in leaving behind a people who have massively listened to his
words and found in him a saviour of some kind. He preached reconciliation. He encouraged the
spirit of service which he defined as being a condition that was outside any ideological scope.
He left in every corner of the country the message of courage and unity. and all people appreciated.
With the Cuban leaders, he appealed for the good working rlationship between the authorities and the Church.
He leaves behind a country that has been fed witthe spirit of hope for a better future for all her citizens wo showed him
how much they loved him and how much they trusted him. The thousands of journalists from all over the globe who have
covered the historic trip are returning home very strongly impressed by what they saw in Cuba!
The Pope's visit will further help the country sell its tourism and this will be a reality! To Cuba, Pope Francis was an eye-opener
for chances of investment in many sectors of the nation's global life.
It's this very great charismatic world leader that President Obama and family and USA officials have just welcomed the famous
Andrews Military Airport in Washington today afternoon. Amrica has for weeks been getting prepared to receive the Pope with the
highest honours that deserve a Pontiff who enjoys an immense popularity all over the world. He comes to strengthen a Church
that needs some oiling for its wanted unity. Heill indeed succeed as he is going to have all faithful and clergy on his side.
The Church in the USA is very dynamic and it ordained 600 priests last year alone. but this number falls short of the much expected
rate as it just gets encompassed in the very fast rising numbers of faithful. In other words, the USA is naturally short of priests!
The Pope will look into this and his action will trigger hope to the now reported 80 million Roman Catholics in the country. they were
just 5 million in 1915. He will also have a moment to encourage the Church in its expected bid to help the USA recover much of its
traditional values. It's within the embodiment of this spirit that the Pope will end tomorrow Wednesday's ceremonies with a canonization
Mass in Washington. This will be an occasion to honour with official church sainthood the Spanish missionary who was the real founder
statesman and evangelizer of the entire California. Other landmark ceremonies will include a visit to the White House where the two charismatic
individuals,Francis and Obama, will have fruitful talks on many current international subjects. And the Pope will also address the USA Congress
in Washington, another historical premier for a Pontiff. Then later on he will address the full plenary session of the UN General Assembly.
Over 2 billion televiewers all over the world will have the occasion to follow the Pope's address direct or eventually in pre-recorded. Equally moving
will be the Pope's visit to New York's Harlem district where the entire population is ready to receive him as the Pope of the Poor! And throughout these
displacements and movements multitudes, indeed millions, will pour on the streets to cheer him.
The Alitalia plane from Cuba landed on time at the Washington military base where USofficials, bishops and senior military personnel were in attendance. Over a hundred journalists travelling with the Pope were the first to come out of the plane. Then later the Pope also came out accompanied
by the Archbishop of Washington who had moved to the plane to fetch him. There were deafening cheers and ululations as the pope descended the plane to greet President Obama and his family. Then a group of young children presented to the Pope a bouquet of flowers assorted in Vatican colours.Hundreds of journalists were on the tarmac to record the event. There were no speeches at the airport. but the president led the Pope to a VIP
lounge where they had a cordial exchange lasting ten minutes. Then they returned to the tarmac for the Pope to get in the small black Fiat car that was part of the long cortege of cars that accompanied him to the Nunciature where he will be residing. He will spent the weekend in Philadelphia where he will preside over a very gigantic world assembly of families that will gather in a spiritual congress. Some two million people have already reserved for the event. Pope Francis will indeed come out of the States as hero of many sorts!
