{UAH} Uganda 23 Municipalities

Dr. Kayondo

send me a private mail to info @idrc-ug.com I will then send you the script.

Mw. Ssekajja you might probably be right - but as I have observed before industrialisation, is there are environment must constituted or rather generative mechanisms must be in the works but not merely caused.

It took Europe Europe 500 years (1400- 1940) to attain the constituents of an Industrial society. Asia is just getting it (Asian Tigers) so will Africa too follow the same route because our youth majority have decided to settlement in urban centres rather than rural areas a combination of scientfic reason and a break from agricultural social configuration/constituents!

Uganda has 23 municipalities with at least 100'000 people each. How much will it cost to provide modern facilities http://uidc.siup.ac.ug

Congo Kinshasha has a pop of ~ 69.5 mil - if just 60% were urbanised with modern utilities how does this translate in GDP /GNP figures etc.,

98% of Africans in sub sahara have no permanent houses, water, sewer lines, cooker, fridge, washing machine, iron box , electricty & so on

Can Makerere University statistics, Bank of Uganda and National Planning Authority calculate figures for basic facilities for each municipality and get total industrial in/output
