Algeria: Ugandan President On State Visit to Algeria Sunday

Algiers — President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, will pay a state visit to Algeria from 18 to 21 October 2015 at the invitation of President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the Presidency of the Republic announced in a statement.

"As the two countries share many common positions on the international scene, Bouteflika and Museveni will have the opportunity to deepen the cooperation between Algeria and Uganda on regional and international issues including peace and security in Africa, counterterrorism across the continent, transnational crime and the UN reform," said the same source.

The development of trade and cooperation between Algeria and Uganda, "will also be at the heart of talks between the two Heads of State," the statement added.
