{UAH} KYADODNDO SOUTH PARLIAMENTARY ASPIRANT REMANDED, MEDIA SHOULD GET US THE TRUTH
KYADODNDO SOUTH MP ASPIRANT REMANDED
Makindye Ssaabagabo Municipality aspiring candidate on NRM ticket,
Paul Sekiziyivu, is remanded over printing billions of fake shillings.
The incident started on Sunday October 11th 2015, while he was at his
home Seguku, he got a call from a colleague from town who wanted to
meet him at Shop-rite at
11.00 am.
Sekiziyivu proceeded to Shoprite, Ben Kiwanuka Street.
But the caller had shifted to Nasser Road where he went. Upon reaching
there he found there two patrol pickups, one UPDF's and another
police's and was arrested and his brand new car was also taken.
He was driven at a high speed up to Kigo where he was put under police custody.
There was an attempt toget him out. He was rushed to High Court on Monday
October 12th, charged and remanded possibly to Luzira Prisons.
According to sources near Ssekiziyivu, he is a businessman based at
Nabugabo Road.
He was born in Ndejje Parish now ward, Makindye Ssaabagabo, and lives
in Seguku Parish now ward.
Ever since he was nominated as one of NRM's aspirants,
Sekiziyivu has not been active.
According to sources, his network in the constituency, included among
others, a retired female parliamentarian from Bugerere, who wants to
seek another term in Kyadodndo South, and together, they opened
offices at Zana along Entebbe Road and Gangu, alongo Busaabala Road,
distributing chicks and mobilizing support from youth and women.
The main stream media should investigate this so that we get the truth
whether the man was arrested fir criminal purposes or it was
politics. Otherwise one of the NRM parliamentary aspiring candidates
is in a drinking spree cerebrating the fall of one of his opponents.
