{UAH} Museveni warns officials who delay teachers' salaries

President Yoweri Museveni has warned he will fire district officials who delay teachers' salaries. Museveni said he received information that the Chief Administrative Officers in various districts are partly to blame  for the dealys in teachers getting their pay on time. The President made the  comments as he joined teachers under their union, the Uganda National Teachers Union (UNATU)  to celebrate  World Teachers' Day.
