{UAH} NATURAL IS UNNATURAL IN UGANDA
Now I have come to know why I am in exile! My mind is not composed to leave in Uganda under the current crop of rulers. I apologize to my family that we are going to miss each other for some time, unless two things happen:-
1. The opposition come to their senses and understands that we need to create one formidable force to confront the Museveni machinery. That it is not about leading the opposition but it is about removing the dictatorship and assume power for the people of Uganda.
2. Nature comes to our rescue and Museveni in invited to the underworld and his network fall apart.
Now talking about nature coming to our rescue; if I were still in the pen profession in Uganda, I would have loved to ask the government spokesperson talking about people having died on natural causes, to remind me when was the last was the country informed when someone died of unnatural causes? Is it necessary for one to provide a defense where there is no accusation? As a friend asked somewhere else, what does "Natural" relate too? After all in the case of Uganda it is natural for things to be unnatural! The police shoot at the citizens; when they do not my brother calls me and tells me that "it is amazing, the FDC youth matched to the TDA office, and the police did not shoot at them." Or this haji from Wobulenzi who I have known since the Luwero war; " mwana wange wandida eka, akasajja kagenda kafuna obuntu bulamu, Lukwago okubye olukungaana, naye twabadewo tiya gasi." (Son, you might come home soon, this fellow in getting back to his senses, Lukwago had a rally here and there was no teargass.) So in Uganda what is natural is very unnatural!
For example, here you are at a prayer service for peace with the all the Bishops and bishops and their dangling crosses and dragging purple cassocks. The sheiks with blooding beards making them look so learned in the religious affairs preaching tolerance and against corruption even though they cannot worship in the same house of Allah, because they are fond of selling off Islamic property. That is natural in Uganda. Yes it is, because, one of the leading Bishops has a high end car fully loaded with a GPS mapping device for direction. In Uganda! So it is at this function of reconciliation and peace that the fountain of honour swears to his Ankole gods that he is going to crush and wipe out people. That is Natural by Ugandan standards. Did the Bishops, sheiks, and bishops, challenge him? No, the fountain of honor can do any dishonorable thing, and it is natural. There you go for your natural causes.
