We are being informed that the president of United States has called on Justine Trudeau to congratulate him on his massive win of yesterday’s election. The Canadian prime minister elect/designate has also used the chance to inform the American president that he is going to withdraw all Canadian jets from Syria and Iraq immediately. It is important to realize that the Liberal leader ran on a promise to withdraw Canada's CF-18 bombers from the US-led coalition's military campaign against the self-proclaimed Islamic State terrorist group. Earlier this year, Canada's Liberal Party fought against the Conservative government's proposal to extend combat missions from Iraq into Syria. And I stated just last night as numbers were coming in that if I was a Canadian fighter jet pilot,  I would start to pack and prepare to come home very immediately, and here we so are.

That is what makes us Canadians and not Americans.
