{UAH} Ukraine disaster: Dutch report blames missile-did the Russian dictator kill these people???
John Kwitonda
I read this report this morning, and it is a very silly report because there is no one out there that was so stupid and never knew that the missile that put it down MH17 was made in Russia. If you read what was reported after the examination of the crash site, yes it was a Russian made missile so what is knew that these people have found out? And I heard western media all pumped up about it this morning as breaking news. So you thought the missile was made in Uganda? Until when you read this report that no one is making public.

MH17 Crash Investigation (165)
Russian arms manufacturer Almaz-Antey presents the results of its own report into the missile launch that downed the MH17 Malaysian Airlines plane over eastern Ukraine.
The investigation results confirm that MH17 was taken down from an area under control of the Ukrainian forces. "Today we can say for sure that if the Boeing was downed with a Buk missile, then it was with a 9M38 from the populated area of Zaroschenskoye," Mikhail Malyshevsky, adviser to head engineer of the Buk missile system producer Almaz-Antey, said Tuesday during a briefing in Moscow.
The last missile of this type was produced in the Soviet Union in 1986 and Russia decommissionned its remaining 9M38s in 2011, as the expiration period of this missile is 25 years, including all possible prolongations.

Almaz-Antey used Il-86 airliners and a 9M38M1 missile in its experiment into the MH17 downing, Almaz-Amtey CEO Yan Novikov said.
"The concern made the decision to conduct a second full-fledged actual experiment. Since there were no decommissioned Boeing-777s, an Il-86 was used in the experiment, whose fuselage is similar to the parameters of the Boeing-777. The experiment was held on October 7 and a 9M38M1 missile was used," he told journalists.

Almaz-Antey's investigation into the MH17 crash over eastern Ukraine last year "completely contradicts" the results of the Dutch commission in regard to the type of missile used to down the aircraft, Novikov said.
"The results of the experiment completely contradict the results of the Dutch commission on the type of missile and the location of its launch," he told journalists.
"The huge volume of accumulated data, and here we only have a very small amount, we are ready to hand over to both an international committee on the investigation of the catastrophe or to a European court that will review our case," Novikov added.
The report is presented Tuesday in Moscow by Almaz-Antey CEO Yan Novikov and adviser to head engineer Mikhail Malyshevsky.
The same day the Dutch Safety Board is expected to issue the results of its investigation into the incident.
The Boeing 777 was en route to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam when it was downed in the skies over eastern Ukraine on July 17 last year. All 298 people on board, including 80 children and 15 crew members were killed.

MH17 crash
Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 crashed as a result of a Russian-made Buk missile, the Dutch Safety Board says.
The missile hit the front left of the plane causing other parts break off, it said in a final report into the July 2014 disaster, which killed 298 people.
The West and Ukraine say Russian-backed rebels brought down the Boeing 777. But Russia claims a missile was fired from Ukrainian-controlled territory.
The report does not apportion blame but says airspace should have been closed.
Investigators could not determine at which point the occupants died, the report says, adding that it was not able to rule out possibility of some remaining conscious for some time during the one-and-a-half minutes it took for the plane to crash.

The plane - flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur - crashed in rebel-held eastern Ukraine on 17 July 2014 at the height of the conflict between government troops and the pro-Russian separatists.
Among the victims were 196 Dutch nationals and 10 Britons.

Four questions
The Dutch Safety Board presented its findings first to the victims' relatives before briefing reporters at the Gilze-Rijen military base in the Netherlands.
The board showed parts of the aircraft that brought back from the rebel-held Donetsk region and reconstructed.
Dutch Safety Board President Djibbe Joustra said the impact pattern on the plane showed a missile was responsible - not a meteor, air-to-air missile or internal explosion.
He said paint had been found on metal fragments within the plane which matched with missile fragments on the ground.
The evidence pointed to a 9N314M warhead, which can be fitted to a 9M38M1 missile launched by the Buk surface-to-air missile system, the report finds.
Mr Joustra said there was sufficient reason to have closed off Ukrainian airspace to commercial traffic but Ukraine did not do that - and on the day of the crash, 160 flights flew over the area in question.

The board does not have the authority to apportion blame, under the rules governing international flight crash investigations.
A separate Dutch-led criminal investigation is expected to publish its findings in several months' time.
Mr Joustra suggested that the aircraft was most likely brought down by a Russian-made Buk surface-to-air missile - which experts say both Russian and Ukrainian armies possess.
The government in Ukraine and several Western officials have said the missile was brought from Russia and launched from the rebel-held part of Ukraine.
Report 'wrong'
Earlier on Tuesday, Russian officials from Almaz-Antey - the state firm which manufactures Buk missiles - once again rejected those accusations.
During a presentation timed to pre-empt the Dutch report, officials said the evidence suggested the plane was shot down by a surface-to-air Buk missile fired by Ukrainian forces.

Using video footage of their own mock-up of shrapnel hitting the fuselage of an aircraft, the officials said trajectory evidence showed the missile had been fired from Ukrainian-controlled territory. They argued the missile used was a decades-old model no longer in use in the Russian arsenal.
Russia says Dutch investigators have not taken account of its findings.
In July, Russia vetoed a draft resolution at the UN Security Council to set up an international tribunal into the MH17 air disaster.
President Vladimir Putin said at the time the establishment of such a tribunal would be "premature" and "counterproductive".
