{UAH} WHY DO DOCTORS WITHOUT FRONTIERS WANT UNITED STATES INVESTIGATED FOR WAR CRIMES?

I am going to take a second and go after this very complex issue that is sitting on President Obama’s door, he needs to look very closely at the issue of blowing up the hospital in Afghanistan or he will become a first president to be investigated for war crimes. But before I go forward it is important I note that after his so many confronting stands as a true reactionary president, The president today at my lunch time hour has called the director of Doctors without frontiers and apologized for blowing up the hospital. It is important to note that I posted this tragedy as a breaking news I think on Saturday morning, and The Obama administration has sent out two excuses every day until today when they have officially apologized.

 

I am going to start with the weakness of Africans and our governments. Doctors without frontiers was created to work in places of wars, it treats every one injured in a war, they are protected by The Geneva regulations of which United States is a signatory. So they go into a war zone as in Syria today on an understanding that they will be protected by all sides that are in the war. In fact when you look  closely at their complaint today, they do not want any one charged with a crime, what they want is to understand if the Geneva arrangement has been thrown out, and they no longer have protection as long as Americans are in a war theater. But that Geneva convention also, built the ICC to arrest and charge every one that has committed a war crime. It is that court they want to investigate exactly what happened in Kunduz and Americans are refusing that from happening. Here is my question to you that supported the Africans to be taken to the ICC, why is that court fair to charge Africans but not Americans? Why is that court good enough for the president of Liberia, the president of Kenya,  the president of whatever, but not for Americans? And yet it is Americans mainly funding it. May be ICC is a colonial entity funded by colonialists to go after our continent?

 

I get very offended when Africans get a glee for Uhuru Kenyatta is at the ICC.

 

Allow me to go back at why The Doctors without Borders are pissed, the war in Afghanistan has been running  for now 14 years. In fact I think it was 14 years to the day yesterday since Americans started to bomb that country. In the so many bombs they have thrown in that country, very many innocent people have lost their lives. And yes hospitals have been blown up before as schools, and they have been labeled collateral damage and everyone has moved on. But the bombing of this particular hospital has a significance, after the deaths of the people, The American administration blamed every one apart from themselves. They started with we are not sure it was our air craft, to we do not know if we were in that region at all, to The Afghanistan government asked us to go in for back up, to we do not know exactly what happened, to we will hold an impartial investigation. When you listen to the statements they have made all this week, you cannot help but find an administration working through cover ups and stopping every leeway to be made public, but an administration operating through fear for a secret has become public. It is only fair that Geneva investigates this issue as a war crime. And do you know why? There is so much evidence to indicate that Americans actually targeted this hospital and blew it up on purpose.

 

The only way to refute all that evidence is to allow Geneva to investigate exactly what happened in Kunduz, and Obama’s refusal to this investigation is not helpful to any one including himself.
