1.The Luweero Triangle War memorial skulls of killed people. Luweero Triangle, located to the north of Kampala was where Yoweri Museveni led the National Resistance Army, to the bush in 1981, following his defeat in the 1980 general elections, to fight "bad governance" until 1986, when he assumed power - by Frederic Musisi.
Luweero traditionally, has the favourable winds and environment for starting or waging a successful armed rebellion, as history has shown, even Museveni knows it..
There are ancient Ganda customs and traditions attached to some lands in Buganda, e.g in 1981 M7 was advised to stop conducting the war in Kyaggwe County, as it would cost so many human lives and still loose the war, and he took that advice by relocating all his troops to Matugga, Bulemezi - if Matayo Kyaligonza and others hadn't heed the advice of the elders, and continued fighting in Kyaggwe, that NRA war would have failed and Museveni would died already. M7 is a typical African traditionalist and knows about the war traditions on the ground. In order to win the war and take power, Museveni had strong support and protection on the ground from Kabaka's men, even Obote knew, that's why many of Kabaka's men got arrested and detained at CPS and Luzira prisons, without trial. E.g Prince Badru Kakungulu of Kibuli was arrested and put inside, on the same.The list of well-to-do Baganda people, who got arrested in Kyaggwe, Busiro and Kyaddondo counties and got jailed without any court trial, on allegations of supporting and feeding Abayakeera ba Museveni (adui) is very long.
Remember Triangle Triangle does not only include Luweero District in Bulemezi County - it includes all those areas where NRA guerillas operated, including Busiro, Kyaggwe and Kyaddondo Counties. To put it another way, Luweero Triangle including all former NRA war danger zones, which got badly affected by the war including Mukono South, that is, areas where people lost lives and properties as a result of that armed rebellion
