Well, well, you were prophetic in this one, though tongue-in-the cheek way. The Holy Dude addressed politicians, religious leaders and diplomats at State House Entebbe moments ago in English!
Poignant message and you could see a few tears of joy or whatever in the crowd. Perhaps Vatican Intelligence (do they have one?), was snooping on our conversation on UAH and knew that people preferred the Pope speaks directly in a language the understand. They must have advised Holy Dude appropriately. He even wounded his speech with and adlib in Swahili, as you guessed. Dude you are 'Ajwoka or Anebi'!
He actually speaks good English with a Spanish accent.
I must say just like John Paul II, I actually like this Pope; not so much the ultra-conservative Benedict XVI .
