{UAH} JEEMA CONGRATULATES RT HON MBABAZI

JUSTICE FORUM (JEEMA)

OFFICE OF THE SPOKESPERSON

PARTY HEADQUARTERS, MENGO KAMPALA

WEEKLY PRESS BRIEFING

(Embargoed Until Thursday November 5, 2015, 11hrs East)

CONGRATULATIONS RT HON JPA MBABAZI

The Justice Forum (JEEMA) congratulates the Right Honorable John Patrick Amama Mbabazi upon his successful nomination as a candidate for president of Uganda 2016-2021.

We recognize his right judgment to come forth and offer his vast experience in government and governance issues as well as joining the progressive political forces determined to redirect our nation on a proper path.

His pledge to invest national resources in people and less in military hardware and real estate directly responds to the peoples' aspirations of equity welfare. It also entails a sharp shift in national priorities toward popular sectors like healthcare, education and agriculture—all values espoused in our acronym JEEMA.

We register our gratitude to the tens of thousands of citizens who braved the hard weather conditions to welcome and listen to the candidate's nomination speech at Nakivubo stadium. This reflected a true sense of nationalism and patriotism, for none of you was patronized with offers such as soft drinks or packed food nor money in order to choose where to belong. In this you have a fair tale for posterity. You will in future proudly narrate how you were part of a history that changed this country from a path tending toward anarchy to normalcy. How you saved Uganda from expanding the public debt burden from the current USD7b that its accountability remains a mystery.  Yet if remains unchecked, its still expanding and it's a burden that obliges up to the third, fourth or fifth generations of this nation's citizens to service.

The thoughtful actions of Ugandans at Nakivubo on Monday were in sharp contrast with that of those at a gathering by the incumbent leadership.

They were first offered cash among other assortments in order to attend. Whereas this is something to regret, on hind sight you factor in the desperate welfare conditions people live by. They can desperately accept anything. BUT this Must Stop, Now!

JEEMA, therefore, takes this moment yet again, to invite all progressive minded Ugandans to come in mammoth to more rallies of candidate Amama Mbabazi. The next of which is due Nov 9, 2015 in Masaka Municipal Council. You are all welcome.

NOMINATION FORMS

Meanwhile, all JEEMA candidates for various elective posts are called upon to pick nomination forms at the party headquarters in Mengo for a timely procession of your nominations.
