{UAH} New Energy Source & Appliances - Firewood Supply vs Poulation Growth

80% Africans still use firewood & charcoal for cooking. Forests are decimated. Population growth & forest regeneration curve do not add up. 

There is a time when population growth will exceed forest regeneration.

That is when we will start understanding real human foolishness. As of now we have just experienced one of the hottest period in Uganda. Rivers have dried up and heavy rains are not providing enough water and starvation has visited places where normally there is no hunger!

There is need for Architects & Construction Engineers to figure out integrating new sustainable technologies in new building design for heating /cooling will be done. The New Architecture and Construstion Engineering.

This calls for abandoning traditional house designs. It's a whole set of new scenarios in Cooling / Heating technologies, more so how effective wind/solar energy can meet these demands – Makerere /Kyambogo is researching in what

On a macro/micro level it's a whole set of new appliances for domestic use (solar cookers/fridge/TV etc) and also redesigning human settlement and urban infrastructure with these new off grid technologies.

Does Government and  Ugandan grasp it?
