Could the political alliance between president Museveni and UPC party president Jimmy Akena deliver the Lango electorate to the incumbent? While addressing a news conference in Otuke district, Museveni told journalists that they are in talks with Akena who is the son of deceased president. Akena commands clouts and leverage in Lango which is a UPC stronghold.
